You should cancel even if the weather is perfect.

Why is one side of the island way better off than the other?

I prefer the North Coast because I like kiteboarding.

Its also a little more chill/relaxed. A lot of the Carribean beaches get people from Santo Domingo visiting them.

Not till Nov 30. All the jackasses celebrating no hurricanes need to do this until then:

frick you. Its fine. No 'cains are going to be a sers threat to the gulf. I called it in May. Despite the weather nerds hoping for an opportunity to rail on Trump for gutting the useless NWS.

We went to the USVI and BVI with the kids over the summer. It was great. You're just soft.

Ever been?

Punta Cana in 2008 by TripAdvisor was for “the adventurous traveler”. We were not impressed with the 10 minutes we were in the “city”. You share a land mass with Haiti. In the event of an oh shite type emergency you will be evacuated to the poors OR they will be brought to you due to the size and sturdiness of your resort.

Unless you want hot Presidente beers in the darkened squalor? Stay home. The punta cana airport had a thatch roof in 2008.

You should be fine. All computer models agree that it will turn northeast and head out into the Atlantic. Thanks to cold fronts.

Until low T soy boys like you started showing up in numbers over the past couple years, this board was full of smarts who used dark humor and satire on the regular basis. Everyone knew the deal and no one cried about it.

Went to Punta Cana once. The resort was OK, but abject poverty everywhere else. Not going back. Barbados has been our best Caribbean destination and would hit that place up again.

not to be confused with it's neighbor to the west, Haiti, which is tied with Jamaica as being the anus of the Caribbean

Jamaica is a hell hole with a couple of decent places.

Haiti has no decent places.
