Stayed at the Royalton Hideaway and it was excellent. The people are cool as hell and love to talk baseball. Told one of or concierges I had been to a World Series and he was just blown away, it was like I had walked on the moon.

The storm is currently predicted to pass over Jamaica and Haiti.....but DR is expected to get a lot of rain. So, the question is do you want to spend your vacation inside watching it rain in the DR.

Punts Cana was built specifically as a resort, there is a lot of poverty in the DR but overall it's not a terrible place, there are a couple of other nice resorts(La Roman for example,) not to be confused with it's neighbor to the west, Haiti, which is tied with Jamaica as being the anus of the Caribbean

This is a me problem, I get it, but its becoming a pet peeve when people ask a question or do something wrong because of lack of knowledge because there are too many tools available for people to not be able to find the answer.
And I get it, asking questions is part of a discussion and you can't depend on internet search/AI application to find out everything and I probably do it myself, but this question just reminded me of how it is becoming a pet peeve.
