Who the furk goes to Loyola Undergad besides libs with pink and blue hair? The only people that I know went to Loyola was for Law School

Letting a professor teach some cool classes they have interest in isn't quite the same as establishing an entire department.
I took a class on the Grateful Dead as an undergrad.

Being a musician is the same thing as being a drug runner.
What this all comes down to though is a disdain for the arts and traditional education. I guess universities should only offer training in the trades.

Loyola was once a very elite school. It had a pharmacy school, a school of dentistry. It's physics program was one of the top in the country. WWL was founded as a physics dept lab project. They have had quite a few world renowed physicist on faculty.
In 2004 a new university President took over. This guy went full SJW and the university has been in decline ever since.

Reminds me of a friend who got a full ride to Tulane and got a drama degree.

WTF? I knew a guy who graduated from there with a BA in physics. Seriously. If you have the best BA in physics in the country you still have an ARTS degree in a Basic Science.

North Alabama has a similar program - something like Entertainment Management and Production - and I've had a few friends go through it. Guess who still work in the business? The guys who were doing it before they event went to college. Everyone else is an insurance salesman or real estate agent.
