Had 3 levees breach in St.Charles County(Mo). Deep arse flooding in some parts. I drove by the other day and was shocked to see how deep that shite is.

-- if you look at google maps where that restaurant is, it appears the area of the break was right at what looks to be some sort of dam in the middle of the river. I wonder if the build up pressure from that dam contributed to the break.

Without looking at the Google maps, I’m betting it’s a lock. They have a lot of locks very close to to one another up there. The currents are crazy strong around those locks

Watch how fast the water rises.

Two questions:

1. How high is the water?

2. Did the Iowa baws go down as gentlemen?

Less than 7 min. from the break til the water got close to the top of the railing.

Go to take your mid afternoon dump and come back to the entire office empty and your car under 5 feet of water

Picture that

That is a shitload of area to fill up that quick.

Not really. It is just a parking lot maybe a 0.25 to a 0.5 acre at most.

Been there and done that sorta. Back in January of 07 my brother, some friends, and I spent the night at my hunting camp along the Ms river outside of the levees. We made two are three trips ferrying stuff across the road that was flooding and there was barely any water across the road. Before our last trip out one of my friends had to take a dump. It was maybe 15 minutes between trips across the road and the water and gone from less than a foot deep to deep enough that water was coming in the doors and deep enough to drown out my brother's truck. Luckily we got within twenty feet of the other side where my truck was parked and we were all smart baws and remembered to put our waders before making the last crossing.

Long story short, the mighty Ms can ruin your day real fast if you let him and he will not wait for you and your shite.

It is suppose to rain everyday until Monday. BR is going to flood again. The Cajun Navy better stay home.

Not a levee break. Looks like the HESCO baskets failed. Possibly not installed correctly. Dem baws have stood up to some serious floodwaters in La. Either way, nature does not f around.
