The mom of one of my daughter’s friends has been quite rotund as long as I’ve known her. In the last year she’s gone from being fat to looking like she’s been in a North Korean labor camp for the past year. She claims all she’s doing is the carnivore diet. It’s kinda embarrassing because everyone knows she’s full of shite.

I’ve been asked more than once in the last 7-8 months if I’m on that stuff. It gets a little aggravating when they keep asking I’m doing, like they are waiting for me to say I’m on the juice.

There are clearly many stories from people saying that exercise and quitting alcohol were the key. However, there are also legal cases and reports showing that Ozempic and similar medications can have serious side effects. On Slepkow Law’s site, I found a detailed analysis about the Wegovy lawsuit that explains the lawsuits filed due to these risks.

If they are losing weight it’s good thing.
Move more, watch calories or even use an app to help with food intake, exercise or reduce couch time.
Not to sound aloof but if someone has lost weight I don’t really care how they lost it.

People keep saying everyone is on it, but I'm seeing just as many fat people as I ever have. I know that's just anecdotal.

We have a friend trying to claim it's diet and exercise to her following on social media but she's told us she's on it.
