Flying in crawfish to CO, how many pounds does a typical non-Cajun eat?

Looking to fly some live crawfish to Colorado in a few weeks, but trying to get a feel for how many pounds of crawfish a typical person eats. I typically eat 5-7 lbs myself, but my guests are going to be pretty inexperienced and I'm guessing won't get a ton of crawfish. I'm having about 6 people over including myself, how many pounds per person do you think I should plan for.
I suppose any extra can be peeled and frozen for later use.

They use them as fishing bait.

Smallest bag you can find. 25-30lbs.

How long will a sack of freshly boiled crawfish stay fresh? I want to bring some to Texas but really want to avoid cooling them.

I think even 2-2.5 per person is plenty. People who didnt grow up eating them, or have experience eating them, usually give up trying to peel after a pound or two. Just my experience with boils in CA, OR and CO.

I always buy 4 lbs per person. The guys generally eat that or more, the women less. Honestly I've never done this where the majority of the people weren't from LA though.

Few folks have 0 experience, wife can do 4-5 and I can do 5+. Seems like 4 pounds per person should have it all covered.

About 15 crawfish
Non-Cajuns get tired of peeling way before hey are full.

Yeah some may not like them and won't eat many so you can probably estimate a little less if you wanted. This is what I buy per person that actually eats them.

Yep.
Wouldn't be surprised if the OP and his wife eat as much as their guests.

No more than 4 lbs if yo have corn, potatoes, garlic, mushrooms, carrots, etc.

Depends on how high you and your hippie friends get before you eat

Stop everything you're doing. Rethink the whole process. Remake the standard crawfish boil into an artisanal, curated, hipster event. Begin a social media campaign featuring the cliche bearded thin guys serving plates of "heirloom", "farm to table" sides and "wild caught" crawfish carefully paired with the latest super bitter IPA du jour.
You could sell this crap for $50/lb if done right.

2-3ish max. Put more sides in the boil (corn, potatoes, sausage, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, etc)
Not only are the sides cheaper, they’ll eat more of them because they don’t have to do any work to do so. They give up trying to peel crawfish fairly quickly and just eat the sides to get full

Just purely out curiosity, what sort of price per pound does one pay to get these majestic aquatic creatures airborne?
