Friend is wanting to go to Europe and he recently found out his wife is pregnant. She will be about 8 month at the time of the trip (he booked before he found out) and doesn't know if he should go.

If he goes and she has the baby she will fricking kill him
Even if she doesnt have the baby she will be pissed that he is having fun in europe and she is at home fat and preggo
Nothing good comes out of going

I mean even if you take the flight out of the equation, do you really want to walk around Europe all day if your wife is 8 months pregnant?

Have you ever been around an 8month pregnant woman??

He wants to go because he bought non-refundable tickets when they were both sober. Now they find out she is pregnant and will be about 8 months at the time of the trip.

Hell no. The lower pressure in airplanes means the baby could just pop out suddenly mid-flight. Plus, if that baby is born over the middle of the Atlantic, they'll have to just leave it in the plane and hope it's still there when they fly home because it won't have a passport to clear customs.

He’s married and he booked a trip to Europe for just himself?

Is she going or not? Your post is not clear, makes it sound like only he is going but the title topic makes it sound like she is flying. Either way, HELL NO. 8 months is way too close to due date and no doctor would allow her to fly all the way to Europe and walk around. If it is only him, he is risking missing the birth of his child. I wouldn't risk that, you can go to Europe later. Consider it part of the costs of becoming a father.

All he has to do is call the airline, explain the situation and request a medical waiver. They'll issue him the value of the ticket in a voucher to be used within 1 year of the date of travel.
