Is it too late to get it or no? Also, is it the strain that's going around right now or is it the same strain that they were using at the beginning of the flu season? Debating on getting one but I'm not sure if it's even worth it at this point.

My insurance offers it for free so I may just go ahead and get it just to be safe. But you're right, nobody really knows if it's going to be effective right now.

I've literally never cared about the flu or flu shot in my life, but this year i'm scared to even go outside. It's crazy. I'd get it.

Supposedly, only a few more weeks left of flu season though

There's no reason not to get it, but it looks like the main flu strain going around was not included in the vaccine that's being used.

I always get one. I’ve gotten the flu a couple times but it’s less severe and doesn’t last more than a couple days because of the shot.

I actually just called Walgreens and asked the pharmacist. She told me the shot includes four strains, one of which is the one going around now. Looks like I'm going to stop by on my way home from work.

honestly, you probably going to go catch the flu sitting in the flu shot corner with all the coughing inbreds around you.

Is it worth injecting mercury into your body for a 10% chance you won't get sick for a few days?

The head of health for my employer urged an audience this week to get it if you have not. Said it is not too late, and those who are getting the flu are getting very sick.

No its not. The vaccine is approximately 90% flu b and 10% flu a and the strain most are getting is flu a. So the vaccine really won't prevent it.
