Notice the article didn't tell you she had the flu shot.
Funny how they forgot that part.

do think people who work in healthcare should definitely get the shot, and people with weaker than normal immune systems, but i generally don’t agree with normal people getting it. I’ve never had the shot and only the flu once in my life, but it would seem like a person would be better off keeping their immune system strong rather than having a shot carry the strength every year.
Healthcare workers should wear facemasks to protect patients. It is the only proven method to prevent spreading. People can carry the flu w/out getting infected by it.

I've never taken the shot, ever, I never caught the long flu...had it back in 2000 for about 3 days I think....haven't had real flu since I was a kid...
Imo, the shot is dangerous imo
Only had the flu when in k-12 and I only think I had it a few times. I imagine most of them times could have been prevented if I weren't doing kid stuff. As an adult I haven't had it and lately I work around a lot of sick people. Also a coworker got his shots and later on got sick for like a month and could not shake this cough/shite in throat. It is amazing how natural selection has gotten it wrong for so long. Thank god Big Pharm is looking out for us by shooting us up with their good drugs.

So you are ok not getting a flu shot and getting the flu and knowing you may have been the reason you gave it to your children, your grandmother, etc.
Well they got the flu shot, so they should be ok, right?

looks like meth might have contributed to her demise

What if it is a baby too young to get the flu shot (under 6 months old)? Or grandma is allergic to the shot so can’t get it?
Again, it isn’t just about protecting you but those around you.

I have never had a flu shot at least as an adult. Fight me.

If you are ever around children, babies, old people, and people that have medical issues that compromise their immune system from now until the end of March...you should get one.
Don’t get why y’all are so against the flu shot? Y’all really that scared of needles? What a bunch of pussies.

I am not against it. Just never really sick so I don’t even think about it.

That’s like saying “I never get in car accidents so I don’t need to wear my seatbelt”.

Getting a flu shot this weekend.

Sticking to your scare tactics I see.
Car accidents and the flu are not comparable, in any way.

Based on some of the posts in here apparently common sense and logic doesn't work with this group so gotta with a more low intelligence level crowd tactic(scare tactic).

You can get in a car accident even if you’re wearing your seatbelt.

No kidding. Car accidents killed fewer people than the flu last year, even going back to the non-seatbelt days.

Yes, but you have better chances for a better outcome if you are wearing a seatbelt.
Just like you can still potentially get the flu if you have a flu shot...but you have better chances for a better outcome if you had gotten a flu shot.

I’ve never had the flu shot or the flu.
The only way to never get in a car accident is never get in a car.
The only way to never get the flu, is to never get the flu
That doesn’t even make sense. I have no idea why I said that.

Bunch of pussies that don't want to admit they are scared of a little needle poke. So instead they hide behind their excuses as why they won't get the shot.
Well this is just a stupid post
