Scruffy any super resistant strains out there atm?

I feel like those are what will really kill people eventually/in the future.

I am having a hard time understanding the physical mechanism in which the flu causes a heart attack. I know we have a few docs and nurses lurking here. Someone help a baw out.

Based on the picture in the OT, her pasty, ghoulish complexion, and dark circles under her eyes, I'd surmise she died from complications from an eating disorder like anorexia.

lsunurse, please cite your studies in bibliographic form. I'm a doctoral candidate and I'd like to look up what you site on Web of Science. If you were to do a meta-analysis across all studies related to flu shots, the results are wholly inconclusive. In fact, there are two meta-analysis studies that exist that I'm aware of that find no effectively factor weighted causal relationship between flu shots and lower resultant influenza.

Last, you've also stated that flu shots result in a lesser version of influenza than what would've occurred naturally. Please provide that citation for that particular study or studies. The logical question for someone not conducting their own research to ask would be; "How would you know?" Sure, you could attempt to set-up a structured lab experiment and randomly select participants, but there would still leave so many scientific internal and external validity concerns - that I won't get into here - that I would question if the various academic ethics boards would even approve the study.

Doctors used to recommend various brands of cigarettes, and four out of five dentists surveyed recommended Trident gum too. Vaccines as traditionally known (MMR, Polio, Small Pox, etc..) work and have the scientific statistics over a long enough longitudinal time series to be unquestioned. Flu SHOTS, do not.

HAHA i'm not insinuating their chances were increased by getting the shot. That's retarded.

Just pointing out the fact that they received the flu shot, yet still got the flu, and i did not receive it, and did not get the flu.

And you do it in every flu shot thread. We already know you're a fricking idiot. Now quit bumping four month old threads.

How do you know she didn't get the flu shot? You can still get the flu even if you get the flu shot.
I've been around people that has gotten the flu vac only to still get the flu. One guy had it and then couldn't shake the cough and excess mucus or whatever he kept coughin up.

I haven't ever got a flu vac and I hadn't had the flu since I was a kid.
