The guy in the middle kind of reminds me of Jeff Lowe.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure it's not legal to sell meat from a hunt to the general public for consumption.

It's legal in Wuhan!

A strong winter should take care of most of them. Even a short period of freezing temperatures are deadly for them.

My brothers and I kept snakes outside in New Orleans for years. None ever died in a freeze. These were king snakes and garter snakes, so maybe these pythons are different.

As impressive as that snake is, they are NOTHING compared to anacondas. Troy Landry did some shows where he and one of his sons went down there and they got with some snake hunters going out in the Glades.

One snake they encountered was an anaconda and fortunately it was one the only one and two docile because the body size of those compared to pythons and boas is much larger and thicker. Very impressive.

Three people would not grab a pissed off Anaconda like that, no chance.

Also, anyone know if the meat is any good?

I've had it prepared several different ways and in every instance, it had an incredibly chewy texture.
It was almost like chewing a small piece of rubber.

So did it or did it not set a new record? How can you write that article without including the length of the snake in question

[quote]Two Florida python hunters caught the longest Burmese python ever captured in Florida. The female measured 18.9 feet, beating the state’s previous record for length of 18.8 feet. Read more here: LINK ]
