Last month, a jury convicted Dalia Dippolito on a charge of solicitation of first-degree murder. She was recorded on video and audio in 2009 as she plotted to kill Michael Dippolito, telling an undercover detective she was “5,000 percent sure” she wanted her husband dead.

This is old, they had an entire American Greed episode on this. The police knew about the hitman before the guy did and took him in before anything happened. The police then proceeded to stage an entire crime scene to act like the murder did happen to see how the woman would react knowing she knew what to expect. She spent a lot of the dudes money and was hoping to kill him, take the remaining money, and move on to the next dude.

Yeah, I'm starting to recall it. She's still a moron though.

After all of that wasn’t her defense that they both were in on it and just did it for TV?

She's ugly and cute and white and black depending on the picture you look at.

Meanwhile, look at her. Her body is rocking, face is at least acceptably attractive. If she had any brains AT ALL, she'd have used that to get herself some non-scuzzy middle class dude to take care of her. But losers gonna loser.

I agree but it takes more than a great body to make something work. She was obviously lacking in other areas...

This quote is underrated in a lot of areas- especially in this case.

seems like I watched a show on this couple

I've seen it several times. I can't recall whether it was 20/20 or Dateline, but it reruns fairly often or so it seems. I remember the footage of her in the car with the cop paying and then her fake crying when the police show up to tell her that her husband had been killed. What a joke. The joke was on her when they brought the husband into the room at the police station. That was good stuff.

What is it about Florida? My wife’s cousin and her husband retired and move to Florida. She meets some of the women in the neighborhood, something came up about the wild hogs Florida is plagued with. The women started telling her if she ever wants to get rid of her husband, drag his body in the woods, pour syrup and corn on him.The hogs would destroy the evidence. She said she was shocked,to say the least.

She was convicted of this in 2017 and the FL Supreme Court denied to hear her appeal in early September.
