Florida man stole a $900,000 boat but left it after hitting pilings

I guess that depends on the damage.

Stealing boats is usually frowned upon in most establishments.

I feel like there's enough material out there to make a movie or show about Florida Man. He's a really damn good character.

Nah just a hardworking and honest father of 3 kids who lives down the street from this dock. Yes, I own a boat in a slip there but not nearly that nice.

Different electronics packages and custom dealer packages may account for some of that. Also, that is likely the insured value.

That's how it goes with boats in Florida.

They're always more expensive in areas where they're more in demand. A $50000 bay boat in Texas will go for $60-$70k in Fla. Supply and Demand.
