Yanes, a Honduran native who runs a construction firm, said that he was fearful for the safety of his family and worried that a “psycho” may have been trying to watch his 16-year-old daughter. “I’m so protective of my kid,”

I can buy that.

quote:

With the drone continuing to stalk his property, Yanes attempted to shoot it from the sky. Aiming at the drone with a 9mm firearm--for which Yanes said he has a permit--the homeowner squeezed off seven shots. But none of the rounds hit the drone.

You gotta hit that Yanes.

quote:

A patrolman “educated” Yanes on the “proper use of a handgun” and told the homeowner that “the shooting of a drone was not legal.” Yanes appears to have escaped arrest since, as police noted, “At this time no one witnessed the incident.”

Nice job LEO.

Looks like we got alot of bad shooters on here what is all this shotgun shite. Hell I bring that drone down with one shot with my 9mm. Let's not forget this is the OT

Personally, I'd rather have a load of birdshot falling back to earth than any amount of 9mm bullets that miss the thing.

Redundant.

Is trespass legal?

Agreed.
Glad the cop didn't arrest him.

I bet ratshot out of a 22 rifle would be ideal.

You don't need a permit for a handgun. You pass a background check and buy it and that's it. No registration, permit etc.

Not one mention of a flamethrower! bazooka, mortar, AAA...

Time to set up that Tesla coil on the roof of the house.
