PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. - A Florida man claimed ignorance when jail officials found syringes in his rectum during an early morning strip search.
When Scott was searched at the jail, officers found three syringes inside his rectum.
However, Scott claimed he had found the syringes and they were not his, although he did not explain how they wound up in his buttocks.

It’s provably an honest mistake, these things do happen from time to time

For those of you who always make the “lol Florida” comments.....
Do you realize the reason Florida has all these stories is because of very open sunshine laws? No other state has such open info
Basically, Florida law requires the release of detailed crime reports, for example "John Doe of Ft. Lauderdale charged with assault for hitting marathon runners with ping pong balls while naked." Whereas other states will just release "Jane Smith of Lexington charged with assault." It gives the impression that Floridians in particular are nutty, when in fact it's just a difference in the availability of information.

Scott was charged with introducing contraband into a correctional facility and held on $5,000 bond.
Hard to see how he had any intent to do this. The cops dragged his arse to jail and they introduced the contraband. He didn't voluntarily enter the facility.

I’d think this was a Jackass routine if not for the fact that Ryan Dunn is dead.
