very very stupid but if the parents agree to it then let them live with the consequences

and I feel for those who have kids that are compromised with other issues that will be exposed

if you have kids with real medical issues, you would understand how stupid this is

Polio vaccines were real, back when they first came out and were taken seriously. Iron lungs on news reels did that.
Yes, fear will certainly drive public health responses. But just like with Covid, the vast majority of Polio cases were asymptomatic or mild. And just like with Covid, the polio vaccines were discovered to be contaminated. Who could have guessed growing cells on monkey kidneys or using vats of Ecoli might be problematic?

By the way, not talking about the Cutter incident with the Polio vaccine but the Simian Virus 40 contamination. Contaminated vaccines were given to millions of people over a nine year time span (1955-1963). Note that SV-40 causes cancer in lab animals and is found in some human tumor biopsies.

...only somewhat correct. Biden's mandates only applied to government employees and gov. contractors. All other businesses and organizations imposed mandates on their own, as well as city and state governments.

Wait. Aren’t the vaccinated kids immune to measles?

When they start to burry a lot of kids for diseases that they could have prevented things will get salty and I'm betting the same 'rents who chose not to vax will sue the state for allowing the mandate to end.

It’s the adjuvants that cause encephalitis which then causes neurological damage or autism.
Take 20 minutes and research and you’ll easily find it.

You do realize they're not BANNING vaccines for children, right? That compromised kid can still have the full rounds, so can every other child.

All they're doing is making it where it's not a state mandated requirement in order for a child to recieve an education.

My child is fully vaccinated (minus COVID) and any future children will be too. But we shouldn't force anyone to make choices they're against in order to receive the same public education available to all children.

Some compromised kids can’t have certain vaccines. Hence their reliance on herd immunity. That’s the point.

And all infants until they’re of age to receive vaccinations rely on us for herd immunity.

I never thought I’d ever see public health under attack in this country. Vaccines and other public health programs in the 20th century led to an amazing extension of average life expectancy and an increase in quality of life. Some diseases such as polio, measles and rubella were eliminated from this country. It’s hard to believe that tuberculosis was the leading cause of death in the US in the early 20th century. Public health programs nearly eliminated it, too.

You think a few nutjobs out of millions will make a difference? There's already 100% unvaccinated people all around us, including children at these schools already. Removing the state mandate won't deter anyone but the fringeiest of fringe individuals from still getting their children vaccinated.

Y'all are acting like they're completely banning vaccines, when all they're doing is removing the states' REQUIREMENT to receive elementary education

If you want your elementary kid vaccinated against things like meningitis, which is a risk for college students
See, this is the completely uneducated take.

We used to see H flu meningitis all the time in children, but most medical students and residents won’t see it at all anymore because we vaccinate against it.

This will reverse that.

I see FAR more meningitis in young kids than I do older.

As to the OP, this entire process is the woke right’s severe overreaction to COVID hysteria and progressive and conservative covidians are to blame.

The impact of that 4 year period will be felt for years.

Bunch of morons.

Removing the state mandate will result in a multitude of individuals who got them because they HAD to, thus resulting in a not insignificant increase.

I don’t agree with kids getting shots the minute they are born but I believe they should have them before starting school.
