I guess he wasn't sorry for partying

If you’ve got four times the legal limit of booze in your system and a big cup of liquor, it may be unwise to demand that deputies search your vehicle.

It could be said that Tremaine McGriff, 32, learned that the hard way. An Indian River County sheriff’s deputy at 2:50 a.m. reported hearing loud music coming from the direction of the 2400 block of 43rd Street. “The music was so loud as to cause a noise disturbance in the neighboring area,”
quote:
The deputy saw a man in a four-door Mercury, who started to pull forward. The man, later identified as McGriff, was told to stop. Deputies asked him to spell his name, but couldn’t understand him. Given a notepad and pen to write his name, McGriff started writing with the wrong end of the pen. “When Mr. McGriff finally began to write with the correct side of the pen, he wrote the name ‘Traimario,’”
quote:
McGriff smelled of booze. He denied drinking and “demanded” that investigators search his vehicle.“During a search of said vehicle, I located a Cumberland Farms ‘big gulp cup’ that contained ice and unmixed liquor that was half consumed,”

McGriff, of Vero Beach, couldn’t stand without using a fence for support. He was arrested on a DUI charge and taken to jail, where breath tests measured his blood alcohol content at 0.33 and 0.344 – more than four times the legal limit of 0.08.
