When I was younger it was exclusively curved bills, but now that I wear glasses all the time I had to make the switch to flatter bills. The curve doesn't sit right.

Flat bill cap story…
When my daughter was 14 there was some dipshit little skater boy that had a crush on my daughter and she thought he was so cute. One weekend she asked if he and some of their friends could come to house to swim. Well when they showed up he had his dorky flat bill cap on. After changing into swim suit, he left his clothes neatly folded on our dining room table along with everyone else’s. While they were swimming, I curved the brim of his cap and put it back on table. The look on his face when he came back in and saw it was priceless. When he picked it up and looked at it I told him I noticed he hadn’t had time to shape the bill on his new cap and helped him out with it. To the kids credit, he actually thanked me. Needless to say, he didn’t want to date my daughter after that.
What an a-hole.

How about neither, why are visors so damn hard to find now?

Old school here - I remember as a kid, when I got a new cap, I would roll it up, stick it in a glass over night and the next morning it was good to go !

Slight bend in the bill if not pre curved. Definitely NOT sporting the Matt Campbell curve as it’s no longer the late 90s.

I don’t even like flat bill hats.
But from age 16-18 before I knew the love of Jesus and cooled out a bit I can tell you had some dad of a girl I liked pulled that on me I would’ve treated it as an act of war.
The first time yall were out of town me and that girl would’ve been laid up in your bed doing things we shouldn’t.
Point being I wouldn’t be picking fights with boys who your daughter has a crush on until they show they need to be run off because the consequences can be… severe.

For most good ole southern baws full of 30a and Pigeon Forge, the early 90s low profile upside down u-shaped bill is the only acceptable form, I get it and still have a few in my collection.
But the style is a bit different at places like the golf course, the ski resort, the running trails or with a lot of sunglasses.
Never should a sticker or tag be left on but different style caps/hats are more than acceptable.

I started wearing a visor at one point and thought it was the best thing ever. I couldn’t figure out why they weren’t more popular.
After a day in the sun it took my a while to figure out why my head hurt. I’ve got a full head of hair but still managed to get a sun burn on my scalp. Stopped wearing them after that.

I think flatbills look dumb as shite, but that’s pathetic. I wish he had taken a pair of seam rippers to your cargo shorts.

Curved only for me. Flat looks like shite.

Super curved is not ideal with sunglasses.
Flat looks stupid.
Find a medium.

I was at the ballpark last night for flag football and took a second to notice that I was the only person in sight wearing a regular old carhartt curved bill hat. I guess I need to get on board with the flat/slightly curved hats

I quit wearing caps in my 50’s

I bend mine like this just to trigger the people who get bent out of shape over dumb shite like this.
That is my personal preference.

A polite, neat kid and you dicked up his hat?
Sounds like your daughter's gonna miss out, and the kid got lucky.
