I guess I was an outlier. Had a buddy down the street that was kind of a tech wizard (he had a modem in the mid 80's like in War Games) and he'd built a little descrambler for his cable box, and every night he'd set the VCR to record 6 hours of the Playboy channel. During the summer, we'd watch all day long.
Even better, his dad was a bit of a horn dog, and actually subscribed to some porn delivery service, so once a week my friend would intercept the mail, take out the VHS tape and record it on his duel setup he created, and we had late 70's and 80's hard core videos suddenly. I might have been 14 at the time. To this day, I can run off a list of classic porn star names as fast as I can give out of SS number.

I was in the 6th grade and an older kid on my bus would sell me pages out of whatever dirty magazines he stole from his old man. A quarter would get me a manila envelope full of bewbs.
