My son has autism. Teachers are aware of these things.

What in the ever loving hell is wrong with this teacher? She knows this child is autistic.

Nope. This kid is actually evil. The other one you are talking about is trying to help people by saving the world.
This young fellow is going around hugging people all willy-nilly against their will. He is clearly a threat to safety at East Ridge Elementary in Hamilton County, TN.

East Ridge Elementary in Hamilton County, TN still has to do the right thing and remove a 5 year old autistic sex offender from the class room. They can not allow such a dangerous threat to go unchecked.

The parents need to work on teaching the child what is acceptable in society instead of being defensive. I get the feeling complaints have been filed by the parents of other kids in this ongoing situation and the school is trying to protect itself.

Strangely, it reads as if he wasn't already in a special ed setting.....which if he was on the spectrum, he should've been.

Those parents are about to get paid if they weren't following that kid's IEP.

How about taking reality into account? He's 5 years old for fricks sake.

That’s old enough to expect general conformance with rules against inappropriate touching. That’s old enough that the girls who he touches without their consent are legitimately feeling uncomfortable and are right to look to the school to stop the behavior.

the child is autistic. he may not be able to easily differentiate between family and public interactions.

granted, maybe they do, in fact, need to help educate him a bit.

who knows...

They did. They banned the obvious sex offender from the class. Problem solved. Right?

Yep, I was going to say if he was dressing as a girl, or was going around wearing rainbow shirts and kissing boys, EVERY single teacher there would call him brave and a hero.

That's odd, I didn't find this anywhere in the story.

It's almost like you're making shite up to defend your shitty position.

I obviously made it up, but I would bet it’s not far off from the truth. I’m guessing he engaged in this behavior more than once and it was a chronic problem.

And your expertise to "guess" this is happening is what exactly?
