Broke my personal record with 13,526 yesterday. Yet some people in our group weekly challenge end up with anywhere between 125,000-175,000 steps a week. Assuming 2500 steps a mile thats 10-14 miles a day. Don't see how its possible. Anyway what you baws got?

19k right now. Was walking about 2 miles to and from work just a few months prior though so imagine that would have put it much higher. (Not a poor, just overseas on a TDY)

27,000. Average 17,500 a day. Not doing anything at the camp last Saturday I had 22,000 and 54 flights of stairs.

I ran a marathon last year with one, so...a shite ton. Don't really recall the number.

Over 25k three different times. I've had it since Christmas. My highest was two weeks ago when I was working in the yard for about 8 hours. 29,150. My wife has a Garmin vivofit and she swears that mine must record more steps than hers. So I wore both one day and they were within 200 of each other at the end of the day. I actually think hers was higher.

It takes effort for me to get 10k/day. I have to actually walk/run, not rely on routine steps. I suck. My record is around 18k. Not that high.

My BF got nearly 60k steps a few days ago. Close to 30 miles. Insanely busy day running around for like 16 hours. I was shocked.

35k. I have been over 25k several times. This is mainly walking, not exercise. I pace when I am on the phone. I also have a treadmill desk so I am rarely seated while I work.

My 10 year old son just bought a fitbit. WTF?

Should I buy it off of him and let him get something he will enjoy more? Ten year olds don't always make the best decisions.

What does it even do?

Hit over 25k one day earlier this week. I'm on vacation and currently averaging about 9 miles of walking per day, and I am crushing several workweek challenges this week

depends on which one he got. counts steps, tracks heart rate, sleeping patterns, calories, can read texts on some of them, GPS monitor on a couple of them.
