Happened to me at the age of 10.

Outpatient surgery to remove from throat. Wasn't bad at all.

Plain films are often worthless but most primary physicians will order them. Flexible laryngoscopy by an ENT +/- CT neck should give you an answer. Like somebody else said, there is usually some trauma which can make the bone feel like it is still present when it is not

This happened to me once. I chugged a few beers to try to wash it down, then gave up. Then I got sleepy and went to bed. It was gone the next morning.

So just chug beer and sleep.

Have you called an ENT or GI's office? Or just gonna roll with it and hope it dislodges?

I gave that up a long time ago, and I don't need to be tripping.

I actually had a fish bone stuck in my throat for a couple of days. I mentioned it to my dad, and he suggested reaching in there with a toothbrush to try to dislodge it. One I got past the reflex action to barf, it knocked the bone loose almost immediately. Problem solved

So you no longer have a gag reflex?

I thought about that at first, to throw up but the beer tasted too good to waste.
