We toke the kids out to one of the neighborhood we always go to and the lady said it was a lot slower this year than its been in a long time. Seems to be a trend maybe with such easy access to cheap candy people are like why bother. Heck kids got loaded bags quicker and less walking for me

My subdivision is too big now. My wife left with the kids at 6 PM and couldn't walk half the neighborhood.
Two years ago, there was tons of traffic, last year was rained out, but this year, only the neighbor's two kids.
Had decorations and everything

Maybe people are starting to understand that eating 2 buckets of candy in one week is not good for you.

I gave out 240 Little Huggies in from 5:45-7:30ish, we ran out so I went sit on my back porch and drink beer.
This year was a little busier for us. We always have at least 200 kids.

It was sad, and really disappointing. There were less trick-and-treaters, and less houses giving out candy. I asked several parents of the kids in my son's class if they were going trick-or-treating, and several said, "No, we don't celebrate Halloween." Even sadder is that many people said they weren't going due to fear of clowns.
