I did, they weren't able to do anything.
Not the store...talking like the UPS 1-800 number or whatever.

ETA: or get the sender to call.

And I'm wanting to call bull shite that you got a tracking number AFTER the failed attempt.

HTC repair site didn't post the tracking number until about 1130 this morning.

I never got an email or any other communication with that number. And I had no idea about their shipping choices.

Sarah (who sounded a lot more like Sajni) was not that detailed.

I did, they kept telling me to try to change the delivery option again through the my ups choices menu.

When I couldn't, they basically told me that it will be at the UPS store (what I originally changed the delivery location to) tomorrow evening.

A. I didn't know the shipper sent it Next day air.

C. Had I known they were going to have it delivered at this time I would have made arrangements.

I didn't even receive a tracking number until after the failed delivery attempt.

this is all on the shipper, not UPS.

unless you want to know who the hell signed for your shite. You're acting like a spoiled brat. Get over yourself and quit whining. every thing you are bitching about is something you could/should have clarified/confirmed at the time of order. grow the frick up.

You'll be fine then. Don't see why you're so worked up about it.

I'll be out of town the next couple days and all weekend. I hate to cut it close I guess.

Are you in Baton Rouge?

If so, at 3:00, call (225) 357-8787 and tell them you want to pick up a failed attempted delivery. You will have to go out by the airport - 3080 Rosenwald Rd, before 8:00 and they will have it for you at the counter.

I think you are slightly angrier than I am right now.

I'm not mad, just inconvenienced and annoyed.

Hence the title.

You get almost a week to return the broken phone and they are lenient with that as long as the phone was shipped before the deadline. One day isn't going to have that big of an affect on you getting the phone back in time.

Just for future reference, the "UPS Store" is not "UPS". The stores are individually owned franchises who provide pickup and drop off services. They do not have anything to do with the actual delivery of your packages by the UPS delivery person.

They are in the same umbrella of businesses in the UPS family, but they are separate and distinct entities.

So I am supposed to receive a package today that is time sensitive. The item was sent to me by UPS next day air. The UPS man usually comes around 530-600 in the evening which is wonderful. Today, that man showed up at 9:33... Am... On a Tuesday....

Overnight shipments have a time guarantee depending on your service location. If the driver doesn't make the delivery by the time required...it's on him.

I try to go online and change the delivery time to this afternoon when I will be home from work, but I can't make a redelivery attempt on the same day.

That's because the driver has a predetermined route of dropoffs and pickups that are almost always time/date sensitive. You will be able to pick it up at the sort center in your area later this evening when the driver returns.

So I call the UPS store (which the woman who answered informed me is NOT ups...)

Those are just franchisees, you need to talk to your local sort center...not a retail store.

I'm just pissed off at their timing for delivery of signature required items....

It's pretty clear when you select your shipping choice.

Why don't you just go to their sort facility and pick it up this evening?

I contacted them and the driver won't make it back before they close at 7. The dispatch woman at the sort center has been very helpful and if going to have the driver redeliver it this evening.

The problem is that there is a signature required for this package so he can't just leave it at the front door.

I try to go online and change the delivery time to this afternoon when I will be home from work, but I can't make a redelivery attempt on the same day. So I call the UPS store (which the woman who answered informed me is NOT ups...) and she said that I can choose to have it delivered there but it definitely won't happen until at least Thursday.....

What the hell. The truck is surely within driving distance and should be able to drop it off at the end of its route.

I'm just pissed off at their timing for delivery of signature required items....

Get your UPS driver's cell number and never deal with this again. I pick up time sensitive shite at the hub all the time.

You do know they're not going to charge you 600 bucks if your phone arrived 48 hours late, right?
