Out here in Spokane we've been getting our shite pushed in by the snow gods.

Seattle area has been cold and wet with a good bit of snow as well...exactly as predicted last summer with the developing La Nina.

Once again, folks need to understand the difference between weather and climate.

It was supposed to be one of the worst winters ever, yet it's been the best. I'm loving it.

shite, two weeks ago, smoker going, having beers on the balcony in the sun with temps in the 70s? Yes please.

Born and raised in Green Bay, but I effing hate snow and cold weather.

It's not out of the ordinary for that to happen. Or it could be 75 and sunny. Chicago weather everybody.

Boston only had one actual snow this season (so far). It's been oddly warm here the last couple weeks and I'm not complaining.

We had 65 mph wind gusts last night in Pittsburgh. The sleet and wind had sort of a sandblasting effect on the houses around here. Lost a lot of branches.

I had to fish some of my ridge vent cap out of my neighbor's freezing cold pool this morning. So now I need a roof repair and it's snowing like crazy.

I'm fine with it. We are probably on track as far as total seasonal accumulation goes, but it has been mostly 3"-4" storms with one 9" accumulation. I actually got the Subaru "beached" in the snow bank the plow left at the end of the driveway and had to break out the snow blower for that one.

This time last year I had to use the snowblower 3-4 times. Feb and March are more snowy here though.
