This caused a fatal f14 crash... many years ago....
Yep. She had no business trying to land on a carrier.
revlon also crashed a pretty famous tomcat... one of the pair that shot down Libyan fitters in 1981

Nothing wrong with being a carpet muncher in today's military.
Unless the carpet you're munching belongs to the CO's wife or daughter.

Hey baby! I got a Viper you can lead!

Viper = single aircraft "team"
Thunderbirds = multiple aircraft
The team was comprised of her (the pilot) and a ground crew.

I worked on Tomcats for years. They required some finesse on carrier approach.

reminds me of that Law and Order episode, where the Navy did everything they could, to try and cover up for a female pilot, who was a murderer and a shite pilot, but was the 1st.
They tried to get 2 other pilots arrested, over allowing the real evidence and facts come out to discredit her and their bullshite 1st female agenda.

The AF will typically grab the best of the enlisted to support these demo teams...
She probably had a few with the group and showed a little "favoritism" with one of them.
Seen it many times, esp with AWACS.

Totally shite the bed on her approach. One of the most f'ed up bolters you'll ever see. Her RIO survived, they never found her.

Said was due to one of the engines stalling and a known issue. They found her a few weeks later
