All good, if she’s a killer.

Special Boat Team 22 of the NSW is based at Stennis Space Center. They train with SEALs on the Pearl River all the time with their 450hp boats.

Not really. Women in combat is a bad idea, no matter how fit they are. We’re taking further steps down the ladder of stupid.

you ever heard that Vietnam pilot who escaped a POW camp and survived in the jungle for a month before making it to a US base? He was the only person during the war to GAIN weight during his SERE training. Guy was an absolute savage.
My BIL went through west coast SERE. The problem was they used the same location for each class, so while in theory you could find something to eat, in practice there wasn't anything left.

Navy SWCC promo.
Yea it looks like a badass job.
Then you have the scene from Act of Valor that has the SWCC extract, while a movie, I’m sure there have been times it’s been close to this.

Must be on the East Pearl, we have a camp on the West Pearl and have never seen them. But man, it would be awesome if we did....

As long as she met the same standards as the men, good for her.
No.
Absolutely not.
It is vanity, and self indulgence. It is putting the pride and whims of one woman, ahead of combat effectiveness, and the lives of the men in the unit.
It is both immoral, and grossly irresponsible.
And what does it say about a society, that sends its women to their death and calls it virtue? What have we become?

Friend of mine flies F-18 Growlers. He said SERE damn near broke him mentally and physically. He had 3 days leave after completing training, he basically sat in his apartment in complete darkness exhausted and in pain.
There are different levels of SERE, the basic course that most aircrew attend is not hard and virtually everyone passes. There are much more difficult levels though.

This doesn't mean much at all after that rough report on the Navy that just came out.
