i don't know anything about being a pilot. i know they have to be in descent shape, but i don't see how one would have to be a man to do it. i know a few pilots from my time in the military and none of them where what i would call specimens. the physical training isn't that hard, relatively speaking.

To fly any tactical military aircraft, you have to be in very good cardiovascular health. To fly fighter jets, you have to be in extremely good cardiovascular health, to fly for a demonstration team like the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds you have to run 3 miles a day in order to keep your job.

right. a women can do all those things. not exactly mission impossible. just be in descent shape. i bet the mental aspect of it is a lot harder. of the military fighter pilots I know and knew, none of them where dumbasses. i assume fighter pilot has a high skill cap.

They require good physical conditioning because they perform without G-suits, and use muscle force to push blood to the brain. However during the 70s half the Blue Angel Pilots smoked, and could always be found shutting down the hotel bar where ever they were staying the night before the show, not sure what changed.
