The one and only CD I ever stole was the Black Crows album.
This dude, who I thought stole my smashing pumpkins CD or it might have been another band, was at a party I was at.. If I recall, when we were leaving the party maybe. I saw someone sitting in his truck, he wasnt around and I went talk to that person. I forget how it happened, but I opened up his CD case and didn't have time to see if my CD was in it (or what I assumed would have been mine) so I opened the case, grabbed a CD and it was this one.

First album 1975: Elton John-Captain Fantastic (best album cover ever)
Single disc, double album case, poster insert, lyrics insert, and comic included with the album. I still have my copy on vinyl as well, along with all the goodies that came with it. Excellent album!

When I was a Sr in high school, I cashed my paycheck on a Friday and went to radio shack in the mall that night. I bought a run of the mill Realistc CD player for a couple hundred bucks. I think I was one of the first of my friends to have one.
I then took what was left and went to the Record Bar bought two.
I also bought 1 of these so I'd have a copy to listen to in my car....
ETA: I still have both of them BTW...
