No there aren’t. Jaguars don’t live on the same continent as lions. Leopards, which are similar, are scared of lions and are routinely killed by lions

Yes there have been instances of Jaguars attacking lions. I'm looking for the article right now. An employee accidentally opened a gate and let a jaguar into the big cat enclosure and the jaguar killed a female lion before they could separate them. There have been other times as well.

NO Advocate

quote:

An alpaca named Daisy died of her injuries sustained in the attack, the Audubon Zoo said at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Two foxes who were also injured survived overnight, although one fox, Copper, remains in critical condition. Rusty, the other fox, fared well through the night and will continue to be monitored, the zoo said.

lucky this wasnt during day when kids were around. jags can kill small crocodiles...

Jag didn't want anything to do with the humans. Thats why he waited until the early morning. He wanted blood from the other animals and did it early in the AM so the humans would see his quick victor.

The alpacas are cheap attractions and are no big deal to replace.

What they should do, is get one for the jaguar once a year and let people buy tickets to watch it attack its prey. Just put it in ole jags cage and let’s roll.

Alpacas for sale

I went on down to the Audubon Zoo
And they all asked for you
They all asked for you
(For who?)
Well, they even inquired about you
I went on down to the Audubon Zoo
And they all asked for you
The emus asked
The foxes asked
And the alpaca's asked me too

The jaguar fought the lion and damaged its eye but didn’t kill it. And that’s pretty much the only scene.

Jaguars get up to around 200 pounds while male lions can get up to 420 pounds. Pretty significant size difference.

8 dead now. Is this Jaguar a serial killer or mass murderer? He’s the Ted Bundy of Jaguars, well, maybe the Derrick Todd Lee.
