If you started swinging on someone at random or with the intent to rob them and they shot you, that would be justified. Just because you didn't have a weapon doesn't mean someone is legally obligated to respond in kind.

Wasn't she holding the handle of the car door while the carjackers were driving away? If I remember correctly, wasn't her arm torn off? I remember the statements by the people who saw her being dragged down the street. That poor woman didn't want them to take her car and she died while attempting to stop them. Were the carjackers ever caught in that incident?

Assuming the part about this being a botched robbery, I have no issues with how they handled. Expedited public hangings and finishing off your attackers needs to be brought back. We use to hang assholes for stealing horses, how far we have fallen.

Fake. I checked Philly PD's official twitter and that post does not exist. I then went to Philly PD's official Facebook and that post doesn't exist there either.
In fact, I can find nothing at all about the incident itself on Philly PD's social media pages which leads me to believe it didn't happen in Philly or the whole thing was fake.

Police say the investigation is active.
The dude survived. Police say it was an "argument" but didn't elaborate.
