Maybe someone can keep one warm with a nice warm bucket of diarrhea.

If they didn’t want to be homeless they wouldn’t be.

The homeless on the street are fricked, should have had help a long time ago, wire are crossed. The upcoming generation that are still fricked up, but fricked up by meds, as well as an entitled attitude, well, we shall see...

ETA:

Decades of dependence on drugs and alcohol, lack of family, not the choice anyone wants. It was ultimately their choice, but lives that spun out of control.

If they can get sober, shelters will house them.

Sad truth is many are there completely by choice. Shelters make an effort to bring people in such conditions but there is always a group of hardcore addicts, alcoholics that will not give up their substance of choice to seek a warm, safe bed and help.

There are people in alaska who live outdoors year round despite the city trying to bring them in. The cops go check on them and try to get them to come in. They sleep in the woods and parks, conveniently located by their towns liquor store.

Firefighters will be busy tonight putting out all the fires in the blighted properties across the area.

The way the wind is blowing can also be an issue with fires.

You’re looking at this all wrong. They are campers and hobo’s. It’s a lifestyle choice.

You probably feel bad for the hikers on the Appalachian Trail too.

Don't worry. They're all probably warm and safe in some shootup hovel right now. This is perfect heroin weather.

I hope SWB has put enough resources into sheltering the homeless. I actually mean that. The millions spent on a frickin inadequate library and potential more spent on trying to make a NBR into a Town Centre is a waste compared to the REALITY that NBR and even parts of SBR need -- shelter and a hot plate.

People like Kibbles make tonight seem like a joke. There are people who may die tonight of frost bite but hey -- on with the Medicaid fraud.
