Ehhh...one slip-up perhaps in a rage-filled yelling match could maybe be somewhat excused. The guy doubled down on it, though, and all while the other dude stayed calm.
Just based on that one short clip the white dude is a PoS
Now, does he need his life looked into and destroyed by the internet because he was racist towards the driver? No, but sadly NPCs like Damone are not only OK with it but advocate for it. The people that do that trash are no better than the dude in the video but feel vindicated and justified. It's really interesting how they can't see they too are a PoS for messing with someone's life over an incident they weren't even involved in and not the superhero they see themselves as.

Not making an excuse because there’s never a reason to be a jackass like he was, but these videos rarely commence at the onset of the issue. They’re always carefully edited to cut out whatever was said before someone starts a tirade.

I have no sympathy for the guys who use that language, play stupid games, etc.
But I do think it skews the narrative. When "whitey" comes out of a black dude in an argument (or some variation, whatever) I don't think it's because the black dude has a deep seated hatred for whites. Or a gay slur, or whatever.
People in confrontations go to the sharpest tool available, and while it might reflect prejudice at some level, it probably isn't very indicative of how those people regularly interact or think about whatever classification they're talking about. In short, I doubt this guy is a through and through bigot, which is what the narrative will be and what will be worked into some national conversation about the engrained racism among average white people. In reality, it's an a-hole grabbing on to whatever thing he thinks will hurt the most in the moment, but CNN's town hall isn't interested in that reality.

Okay, then go off on a tirade about him being an a-hole who almost hit your dog. I can't even imagine going straight to those terms with a complete stranger just because I'm pissed they maybe almost hit my dog (in the street no less).
So maybe the guy didn't start yelling this shite at the first black dude he saw, but its still trashy, racist, and I have no sympathy for the guy.
