Any lawyer representing him should jack up their hourly rates to astronomical rates.
I mean they have stakeholders to look out for too.

Yea but in order to move prices by shite talking people have to take your word on it. If you or I did this no one would listen.

If he had not raised the prices, then acted like a pompous jackass afterwards, nobody would have ever gone after him for anything.
Again, this is has been going on for a few years now and was under investigation well before the price increase.
Basically, this guy has been a shitstain for years.

Didn't see this before,
Ha, what a scumbag.

Retrophin also digs up allegations from 2014 that claim Shkreli tried to intimidate a former MSMB employee, telling his wife in a letter that "I hope to see you and your four children homeless and will do whatever I can to assure this," and reaching out to the ex-worker's teenage sons on Facebook to say their father "betrayed" and "stole $3 million from me."
Ha, what a scumbag.

Specifically, the SEC alleged that he misappropriated about $120,000 in investor funds from MSMB; lied about the fund's performance, assets under management, and retention of an independent auditor and administrator; misrepresented a naked short to a broker; and misappropriated about $900,000 of investor funds from MSMB Healthcare to fund an arbitration settlement tied to the firm's failure to settle short sales.
He should have diversified his bonds, yo

How is this different than what ackman, icahn or the CEO of citron research do?

Once he was ousted from Retrophin and they entered into civil litigation, it was inevitable that the SEC would start digging around.
ETA: they arrested his attorney too. Shkreli is fricked.

Authorities outlined years of investment losses and lies Shkreli allegedly told his investors almost from the moment he began managing money. By age 26, they said, he got nine investors to place $3 million with him, began losing their money and covering it up. Within a year, his fund's account was down to $331.
Shkreli attracted another $2.35 million investment in 2010 and lost about half of that in two months, the authorities said. As the hole grew, he covered it up with scheme after scheme, telling investors that his returns were as high as 35.8 percent when he was down 18 percent. He used client money to pay for his clothing, food and medical expenses and lied to the broker handling his fund's accounts, authorities said.
Dude turned $3 million into $331
