I thought it was fairly well known by people that did the slightest research on the dude that the play with the drug price increase was a desperate attempt to pay back the people whose money he'd lost at the old fund. The KalaBios deal seemed pretty shady, too.

this crossed my mind as well...the possibility of the government putting together some trumped up charges to arrest someone who is unpopular kinda reeks of some shite that a 3rd world country would do...

Except that he was being investigated prior to that and he's pretty clearly a crooked motherfricker not just "unpopular".
