lol all those industries get ITEP exemptions rubber stamped by the state, then the state(me and you) turn around and give the towns a partial payment because the state approved the exemption. To answer your question, the company is off the hook, we pay the taxes

So Saucier's Sausage Kitchen is still there on Saucier Road? I had no idea. I'll stop the next time I'm near there. I'll check out Guillory's, too.

I've never heard of this place. Is the sausage and boudin good?

Passed through Forest Hill twice during the last couple of days, nary a local cop to be seen anywhere. Looks like RPSO is handling traffic/law enforcement for now in town.

Just drove through and saw 2 RPSO deputies hanging out in separate locations in town.

All the local cop vehicles are parked up behind city hall.

Hopefully they disband that speed trap and let rspo handle all of the crime in FH.

Guillory's has old timey boudin, edible casing and all. Their sausage is really good as well, especially if you like heavy smoke.
Sauciers building still there but sausage kitchen is cloed, it had really good sausage as well.

Well, Glenn Dixon resigned this afternoon according to KALB.

Glenn Dixon resigns

However, Doyle for Oakdale, has yet to resign and still currently Chief of Police for Oakdale. Since he is an elected official, he will remain chief unless he resigns, is recalled or convicted on the charges.

I understand there’s protocol when it comes to being able to stay as the Police chief, but it’s still wild to me he can still serve

The dot Indians owning convenience stores are not so much weird as a corrupt scam…Apparently they get loans to purchase the stores which are manipulated and rolled over to different family members and never get paid out.

Desoto Parish businesses, especially Mansfield, have been taken over by Indians. I wouldn’t be surprised if the same thing is happening all across rural America.

Its crazy to me he has the balls to even show his face in town even though he has only been charged and not convicted as of yet.

The Feds dont come after you unless they are almost positive you have committed the crimes you are charged with. The conviction rate is about 95% so you have a very, very good chance of having your arse handed to you. He will collect that check as long as he can with no remorse. After all he is accused of taking bribes sooooooooo........

Sorry to have bothered you. I thought maybe you lived there based on your post. I used to live there years ago so I have followed this somewhat. I thought that I read that somewhere, but maybe not.

I did see that the City Council asked for his resignation.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Feds have to come in.

Local yokels rarely arrest other local yokels.

So looking at the news this is all about the U visa and these pos cops were filing false and bogus reports?

I’d suspect every single report they have ever written, it’s all gotta be thrown out right?
