Gina Rosa - ACCT (automatically goes on this list for being the hottest accounting prof).
Vaughn - MATH
Sauley - MGMT
Andrews - FIN Didn't really like all his vocab, but it made us learn the material.
Catanzaro - ISDS
Least Favorites:
Kelle ISDS 3115 - WORST CLASS EVER
Wiser? Taught ECON. Someone on this board has his picture as their avatar.
Soileau ACCT - hated his excel test.
McGuire MGMT - I really shouldn't put her on this list, her class was super easy.

The dirt worst = Senior Sheldon "Happy Pants" Lotten. I had his class at 2:30 PM. At 2:30 PM on 9/11 dude had no clue what had happened that morning.
I think everyone had that ONE professor on 9/11 who didn't cancel class. I know I did.

Favorite Professor: Keith Gonthier. Very hard classes, but he taught better than anyone I ever had at any level of learning.
Least Favorite: Harris Wong
, Dude was an absolute douche. You had to turn in all of your homework in order to take the final. I had aced 2 of 3 exams, but never once turned in homework. When I went to his office to turn in assignments to be able to take the final, his face was priceless. He was not happy that someone as lazy as myself was going to pass his class easily

Least Favorite: Harris Wong

My least favorite was easily Stan Hilton. I had heard a lot of good things about him and was pretty excited to take the class, but man.... I'm fairly sure when the semester ended he retired so that class was awful. He definitely earned his retirement but god damn he mailed it in that class, would wander into class and go off the rails on lectures. The material on his tests would not come even close to the lectures and I had to personally take up my grade with him because his TA was messing up badly. If I hadn't done that, I'd have been stuck with a D because he mailed it in.

Yeah, I was an ISDS major as well, and the department on the whole was pretty solid.
Borne, Hutchison, Cannazaro and Houston were all good and rather knowledgeable.
Least favorite in the department was Sonja Wiley-Patton. Seemed absolutely aloof at times. I remember I had her class when Obamacare passed, and she took a few minutes in class to talk about how that bullshite was good for America, and how no one should be deprived of healthcare. It was totally inappropriate.

has a good story about Chenier.
Chenier spent nearly two entire classes lecturing us on why we should not just leave after the clicker questions. She was pissed. She kept telling us that we'll never learn if we don't watch her, as she fricked up basic accounting tasks and had to go fix them. We all thought after the first class of lecturing she's drop it and move on, but she picked up right where she left off when we returned a couple days later.

I would be the Wiser guy. As I said in a previous post, that guy could barely teach us his name without stumbling over himself and fricking up. He also had a very weird sense of humor that I believe was more of a nervous habit than anything. He would just start laughing at random statements he made as the class awkwardly looked on. I felt bad because he was a super nice guy, but he couldn't teach. Sadly, he would never be able to function in the real world either so I do not know what he's doing now.

Am I the only one who did not like the Karam guy for marketing. His class was fine he just seemed like a total bitch. Always telling stories about how me "almost" made a bunch of money on something but had some excuse as to why he didn't.

I've had some great professors. To name a few
B Andrews (FIN)
M. Kirby (FIN)
K Sauley (MGMT)
C Kenny (POLI)
J Richardson (ECON)
I try and forget the shitty ones

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Carolyn Jacobs; that bitch that taught statics. I've never met a student that liked her.
Favorite:
Chem - J. Hop
Physics - Ray Chastain
Hated:
Circuits- Mark Rabalais - complete arse often had errors on test answer key

I liked him. Thought his glass was pretty interesting. He was definitely a bit of a dick, but his enthusiasm for the subject kept me interesting in that early morning class. And I thought his tests were pretty fair.

No doubt. He spent a lot time in S. America during some high activity periods.
I think its funny that he went to college at Berkley, I bet the CIA planted him there to infiltrate hippies from the inside.

Also,
Weirdest Professor I've Had At LSU:
Michael Malisoff (MATH)
Obviously a brilliant dude, but he was like in a whole other world. Before I'd ever had his class, he was noticeable walking around campus. Ended up being a pretty teacher.

African dude? I had his class on 9/11 and he said he understood if we didnt want to attend. Me and a buddy went to the union and watched the coverage.
That's him. We invited him to the fraternity house for diner, and he actually came over. He was a cool guy.

Roussell wasn't my favorite, but he was a good professor and has passion for Econ. Like someone else said, he made the subject really interesting and he prepared you really well for the final. He was always open to help me as much as he could in his office if I didn't understand something.
