Either of the Admirals Clubs at MIA.

Can be a talent-rich environment.

DEN gets my vote for favorite Domestic airport to drink at during a layover.

MUC (Munich) for International. It's like a mall with an elaborate food court.

Drinks and sushi at One Flew South in ATL (pre COVID) then kill time watching big jets at the Sky Club in F until it’s time to go to my gate. ATL is great because of how quickly you can get from one terminal to another. Even though everything is connected at DFW the train takes forever.

Brussels is my #1. Schiphol was my previous first ranked. Domestic I would maybe say ORD.

DIA has some great watering holes but they all close around 8-9, sucks if you’ve got a red eye or overnighting. Gotta bring the edibles to hold you over.

They will let you walk out at last call with 2 to-go beverages though.

I remember drinking a lot at ATL, MDW, and BWI on occasions during layovers many many years ago. Once at BWI, I passed out after drinking several Molson Ice beers at the bar. Just before take off, I filled the barf bag full before going to sleep. I managed to spill it all over my ankle and shoe during the hop.

Don’t fly much anymore, but it used to be whichever ones had a United Club. Bloody Mary’s in Terminal B at IAH used to hit just right after getting off a redeye. Was well worth the $400 a year.

O'hare. You can get your beer to go and roll around the airport

ORD loses points for not being that cohesive of a terminal design, and hitting a Domestic connection on an International flight sucks at ORD.

That train from Terminal 5 comes seemingly once every 15 minutes and doesn't move very fast, and drops you off in the street basically right in front of the normal terminals. A 3 hour layover somehow becomes just enough for 1 beer by the time you navigate that.

Although wouldn’t be a layover it used to be the Airport Lounge at the Monroe airport before they moved.

I find airports in Asia and the Middle East are pretty darn elaborate. Singapore's Changi Airport left a good impression on me. They have an indoor waterfall called the Rain Vortex that's really cool.

I was surprised to find some nice bars at the airport especially when Singapore is known for being very strict with anything fun. Here's a view of the Rain Vortex from a table at the Burger & Lobster.

There's a few. Used to run the Chicago to Istanbul then Erbil route. Always loved Istanbul before they opened the new international terminal. Nashville to New Orleans both equally ok for Knob Creek over crushed ice. Now it's Nashville to Dallas onto Lubbock or Midland...I don't drink on this route
