This attitude is the problem. Masks have morphed into a security blanket for people to feel better. Actual effectiveness be damned.

Once people get a taste of power they have a tough time giving it back up. It really is that simple. And then you have people cheering on and justifying the behavior. Really is incredible.

At what point does everybody just completely disregard what he says and goes about their lives? I'd say it's getting close to that point right now. Especially if people get vaccinated and we see dramatic shifts in the new cases reported.
