Guilty for me. I wouldn't want these jackasses to get away with this.

Anyone with gun training in self defense situations are taught to ALWAYS deescalate first, get away from the threat if you can, and as a last resort, defend your life if you feel your life is in immediate danger (or the life of someone else).
As it should be. People saying the victim egged them on, but they clearly have had issues before. The whole reason he was upset is because they pulled a gun on him in front of his kid. That made him act irrational. It should not matter if he "egged" them on after. They could have easily avoided all of this. The shooter even said, "take your swing." Therefore encouraging him to give him a reason.
Screw these two POS. I'm tired of self defense being you can intimidate anyone with your guns and if they do anything remotely questionable you can just end their life and get away with it. Just my opinion.

I think they're all guilty, including the dead guy. He threatened to kill the shooters seven times. I guess it depends on the letter of the law but the dead guy was the physical aggressor up until he wasn't.

I’ve got a not guilty on this one. We have a verified hot head armed with a deadly weapon (baseball bat) making deadly threats. A reasonable person could fear for their life and respond accordingly while standing their ground on what is perceived to be common property between the neighbors.
Sure all parties are guilty of stupidity but I struggle to ring up murder here

These 2 baws should walk away free. Well maybe not the sun but maybe so. Wonder what Aaron was doing off camera that made them shoot. Of course at the most crucial time, the gf didn't film the action. They have a right to stand their ground no matter how stupid it is. If dude was getting a bat (seems to be what he was doing) then you can see that as an act of aggression, especially after telling them both he is going to kill them several times.

Prosecution & defense have both reportedly rested
Quick, quick case

I am interested to see how this will turn out...
While I do not support the stupidity here... The big guy that was killed was threatening them.. "Imma Kill You" he said about 10 times...
also he picked up a big stick and threw at the old man, you can see him duck in the video...
But, with that said... I foresee a GUN CONTROL type jury that will use this as a gun control example...
Where was this again? Texas???

If you tell me multiple times that you are going to kill me, I will believe you, and defend myself accordingly.
They are all stupid arse humans, but I think I would vote "not guilty"

Exactly. The video does not show it but the deceased appeared to attack the father. So we have "I'm going to kill you, goes to attack and then gets shot. That's a FAFO case if I ever saw on.

Things to consider is... what happened prior to the video starting? What are the gun laws/self defense laws of Texas?
Also, I think I read the guy who got shot had some sort of "Intermittent explosive disorder", which from the web reads:
Intermittent explosive disorder involves repeated, sudden episodes of impulsive, aggressive, violent behavior or angry verbal outbursts in which you react grossly out of proportion to the situation. Road rage, domestic abuse, throwing or breaking objects, or other temper tantrums may be signs of intermittent explosive disorder.
From what I read he threatened, I think, a mail carrier and the mail stopped delivering to his home.
I find it really really odd that you go to confront a neighbor, and out of the blue you carry loaded weapons. I suspect there was some sort of history. I mean, (as an example) if your neighbor dumped an old dishwasher on your property, would you go to his home to confront him carrying a loaded gun? I wouldn't.
As far as if guilty? Yeah, it will depend on quite a bit.

They kept their cool and gave plenty of warnings that they were going to defend themselves. Other guy threatened to kill them and attacked. Not guilty, I suppose.
Mostly guilty of stupidity.

Same. The aggressor made a bad move. Of course all 3 are idiots though.
What's the latest in the trial? Who is ahead? Who is losing?

Bottom line: regardless of dead guys threats, the lives of the shirtless fat fricks were never in danger. They won’t get off lightly.

Why did they need the guns? They look tough as frick without the shirts

Not in danger? When a known (apparently) aggressor is screaming at them that he’s gonna kill them both, then supposedly grabs a bat, I’d say that’s pretty clearly a danger to their lives, or at the absolute least, their person. A bat can be a deadly weapon, especially in the hands of an extremely aggressive a-hole who has threatened their lives multiple times.

Fry both of the fat fricks at the same time

I believe the jury is deliberating right now….short trial only called 2 witnesses from the prosecutor.
One of the witnesses stated something like that Aaron can be intimidating and when he had the bat and began to swing that’s when they shot him
Here is the quote:
“Aaron had that bat in his hand. He went to swing it at that dude, that dude f—ing pulled his trigger.”

Self defense.
Those of you saying they shouldn't have been there or shouldnt have had guns can go frick yourselves until you are badass enough to confront a crazy bat wielding psycopath with your bare hands and have it caught on video.

Oh I agree it’s self defense….either party could’ve walked away and none of this would’ve happened…now 4-5 people’s lives have been ruined…I just found it odd that the witness told the prosecution that….not sure what the jury will think but we will see hopefully the next couple of days.
