Why is it that questioning the status quo is condemned?

When I never concluded anything about Sandy Hook...merely because I'm skeptical and don't put stock into what 95% of America believes because they were told to experience this event as presented.
If notiger1997 were critically thinking, his resolution would not be icetiger is crazy...it would be, "I looked at all the supposed data points that are suspect and I agree that despite x, y, and z look strange, the story of Adam Lanza was too convincing, I have to believe the story as presented."

Another strategy of the loony birds is to just outlast anyone who cares enough to argue with them.
The people who would want to post links and really research counter points probably all left early on after realizing that it's a pointless exercise.
Probably could make a better use of one's time by trying to convince a pig that it could fly.

You've concluded something about it or you wouldn't hold to your "questioning" (which is really a CT disguised as questioning because you don't have any answers or theories that will stand up to analysis) of the events.
Sometimes when you don't believe what 98% of the rest of the country believes, it's not a hallmark of you being an independent thinker. Sometimes it's a hallmark that there are flaws with your rational framework. That doesn't mean you're crazy. It just means you don't have a sound intellectual epistemology.

This is the epitome of CT logic right here. When they see that nearly everyone feels a certain way, in their brain they think that means they feel that way just because everyone else does. In reality, everyone has the same belief because it's the most logical explanation. I don't believe Sandy hook was legitimate because CNN told it that way, I believe it was legitimate because 1) there is no remotely logical reason for it to have been staged and 2) staging it would have been nearly impossible to pull off without someone slipping up. Most people come to this same conclusion because their brains function normally

Wonder how the government got CNN, FOX, all the others, including dozens of newspapers, local affiliates, the AP and all the international media that covered this staged event to stay in lockstep?
