Father Michael Yager said his son, Jacob, had been bullying students at New Smyrna Beach Middle School. In an attempt to teach him a lesson, Yager made the boy stand on a busy street corner with a sign that read, "I'm a bully. Honk if you hate bullies."

I don't see evidence of him attention whoring by putting it on Facebook.
Respect.
Respect.

So he bullied his kid for bullying other kids? Seems legit.

Nice

He’s just asserting his dominance.

I guess he could've beat the shite out of him instead...

Yep. Getting a taste of your own medicine is typically a pretty good method to develop a little empathy for others.

It shows the kid that negative attention in front of peers hurts. The dad isn't posting it everywhere who cares.

Precisely. Kudos for dad for not being an attention whore and posting it everywhere for a few pats on the back from strangers online.

If the kid is an idiot, with an attitude, sometimes it's the only thing they understand.

And there's plenty of folks that end up in prison that got their fair share of whippings as a kid. Hell, maybe he already tried it and it didn't work so this is his next resort. Parenting isn't a one-size-fit-all thing.

Dad doesn't look like a Facebook kind of guy...

I hope dad whipped his butt before/after that.

Yeah, I'm sure the guy who writes poetry on a sports internet message board was a huge bully back in the day.

This. I agree with the punishment but it doesn’t need to be posted online bc the dad’s seeking approval

Bullies are a necessary part of a positive healthy childhood. Back in my day we had bullies and there were no trannies and the school shooters were too sore from getting beat up to do anything

I don't even know what "bullying" is anymore.
