Looking at the picture, you can clearly see his trajectory was moving forward, not backwards.

Mein Kampf means "my struggle" not "the Jews are the source of all of our problems and we need to eliminate them", but context matters.

Just because he is facing forward does not mean he is moving forward.

Just noticed what appears to be his hand reaching out in the top left photo …ugh.

It's easy to visualize what happened. They start down point A and reach maximum speed at point B. As they approach point C and start on the radiused "pc" part of the track momentum will want to keep the rider moving tangent to the radius but the centripetal force supplied by the restraint keeps them moving with the coaster. As he slips the restraint somewhere in the maximum centrifugal force area between that line marking "pc" and point C he will tumble backwards as the coaster is pulled away from his ballistic trajectory. Point C will be the point the coaster is slowest and he probably settled into a cart on top of someone at this point.. As the attitude pitches downwards again after point C he will tumble forward. You can see between the first and 2nd picture his bulk was pressed further into the cart between those pictures instead of being separated farther away. His unfettered gravitational acceleration is outracing the coaster at this point. He was later flung out of the side of the coaster as it made it's final turn.

would be a good name for a book. "my jihad" or something like that.

Ryan the Ride Mechanic weighs in. He goes into the technicals of this restraint system and possible failure points.
TL:DW - It's unlikely the locking mechanism failed. His guess is maybe the bar going from the lock to the seat restraint had a crack at a weld near the base and bent back at the crack.

One thing I was questioning is why it took slow long to get the stranded riders off the train that was stopped half way up the incline. I think it took over an hour.
Watching some of the videos, they actually were putting the riders in a safety harness and they were then tied off to the railing as they climbed down the stairs.

Who are you trying to convince with your spoon fed definition from Islam, me or you?

Yes, but it’s most commonly used as religious struggle against infidels.
