yet we have studies that show that all cause mortality goes down, bp goes down, ldl goes down
LINK
I assume he is talking about this one which showed roughly 2.4 bpm increase on average which returned to normal within days of the injection. and essentially he is extrapolating by using that limited data and using another study that shows higher BPM means shorter life span but....
so cool...bpm goes up for a short time....but guess what...overall we huge an increase in cardiovascular health as seen with the reduction the rates of major adverse cardiovascular events(mace)
LINK
nobody said anythign about a free lunch
1) glp is found in the body and is found in higher levels in those of a normal bmi. this is a fact. its found in much much lower levels in the morbidly obese
2) glp1 is just replacement therapy. its not some unknown substance
3) there are side effects, the medicine is designed that if you eat like an a-hole, it will punish you. you will be hurting but if you stay on minimum effect dosing and use it to control hunger and food noise and dont eat like an a-hole you will not have hardly any side effects if you have any at all
i have written and diagrammed how to take the medicine correctly for min effective dose, how the medicine works, what pathway it takes, what chemicals are suppressed in the obese, which are more prominent and a whole host of other things on GLP1 on the H&F board
I dont even take them but the stigma is stupid as frick. you can choose to believe whatever you want and be ignorant on a subject or chose to educate yourself.

Good for her. She look like she's down a good 100 pounds.

100% agree. Laughing at a fat person at the gym is like laughing at a homeless person at a job fair.

No, but doing so while telling the other fatties to stay fat is pretty shitty.
Honestly, until she walks back all this healthy at any size bullshite she deserves to remain fat and die young.

Good for her! Unfortunately, the person she was paying to wipe her arse is now unemployed.

From a health standpoint, good for her.
From a societal and media perspective, pushing the false narrative about the “beauty” of her size and unhealthiness was messed up.

Maybe she got tired of feeling like crap all the time.

Yeah, I'm not sure many on here have paid much attention to Lizzo the past 5 or so years. She promoted the "big is beautiful" mantra and tried to completely rewrite health and beauty standards. Who knows how many people just completely gave up trying to be healthy due to her nonsense.
Of course it's great that she's taking her health seriously as long as she rolls back the other nonsense.

After all that shite went down with the backup dancers and dildos on tour and some other event I can’t recall this chick snapped.
Not going to go down the demons are real path, but something changed drastically.

She didnt snap, just came into reality and the reality is even if you have money you can still be a fat sack of shite.
Her having money at the time was her shield to say whatever she wanted. The problem is that money doesnt protect you from being a sexual deviant and it turns out, if you are fat and unfortunate looking you will be shunned even harder than those that arent.

O gtfo dude. She's trying to get healthy. She doesn't deserve to die young just because of some previous comments.
Posted on 9/18/24 at 10:59 am to boomtown143
So you mean it wasn’t ACTUALLY healthy for her to be 300+ lbs like all these women’s magazines claim on their covers?

Has she publicly walked back the healthy at any weight advice she's given tens of millions of Americans?

You think tens of millions of Americans took health advice from Lizzo?

Maybe not tens of millions, but a lot other fatties looking for acceptance and avoiding ANY change in their diet do.
