Maybe 7 minutes?
I really prefer distance and duration over speed. Endurance is more important.

Maybe the question should be - fastest mile in the past month?
Just under 12 in a brisk walk

4:35 - high school
9:30 - now
16:15 - 5k high school
30:00 - now
I don't run, high school running ruined it for me. And women and booze.

Ran a mile pace in 6:35 back in the USMC. I have done a half marathon. That's as far as I ever care to go or will even run again

4:51 in 1995. Ran the 1600M in middle school and high school.
I run off and on now. Usually around 3 miles. I used to be a big runner, but never more than 10ks.

Fastest mile was 4:18 in the summer of 1991 at 34 years old...I was fairly consistent at 4:30'ish, but my PR was a one time fluke. Best run was a 9:36 Two Mile Road Course where I came in 2nd place...
I still do an occasional Half Marathon at 57, with the last one in Savannah at 2:03, which is a far cry from my PR of 1:16:08, and Marine Corp Marathon of 2:41:10

Ran my 3 mile PFT, when I checked in at Camp Pendelton, in 16:30.
This was after being stationed on Okinawa for two years. The last 9 months there, I was the NCO in charge of my units remedial runs for all of our weaker runners. There's nothing like doing your regularly scheduled pt, then following it up with another pt session at lunch everyday.

Close to that 6 minute mile mark pace for the PFT as well back in the day. However, I don't run any significatnt distances anymore, but I bet I could still bang out 3 miles pretty easily. Prefer sprints and running inclines now.

1 mile? Not sure, never really ran it when I was running track. I was a 400m and 800m guy. I would assume it would have been around the 5 minute mark.
Me too, went down to the 200 and also ran the relays. Never actually ran a track competition mile but in a practice mile I could break 5 minutes by a few seconds, but it hurt.
