The latest trend is the classic style sports cap. A.k.a “Dad Hat.” The minimal cap, with the perfect curve has reemerged once again as a staple in the fashion game, being revamped by various contemporary brands. Today the sports cap is worn by the fashion-conscious youths as a “cool” accessory to complement their wardrobes. NBA guys have jumped on the trend as well, especially for the NBA Playoffs. Thus far we’ve spotted stars such as Lebron James, Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving, Russell Westbrook, and Dwyane Wade all rocking the sports cap with their ensembles.

And then you have this guy:

So stupid hats and no cleavage? Wow I've been in style for awhile and didn't even know it.

So they're wearing normal hats the way normal people wear them, and the way hats were intended? I'm glad they finally stopped with that ridiculous flat bill trend. I also notice that the stickers and tags are removed.

every hat pictured is just a regular damn hat. When I think "dad hat" I think of something my grandpa or mike rowe would wear; plain solid color, no text, no frills. Like this:

Not really a baseball hat. These don't have that backing up front that makes baseball hats puff up. I would always cut that stuff out and get the bill really curved.

If it takes this being called a "dad" hat and being in style to get people to stop wearing ridiculous flat bill hats, I'm all in.

I bet everyone shitting on flatbills is a member of the "who cares what other men wear?" camp.
