A company like Comcast staying in Mississippi where it was born could have changed a lot of lives.
This map has Delta in Georgia, didn't it start in Monroe?

Too bad Tabasco isn't included on the Louisiana map.

Alaska and hawaii contribute nothing.

I don't get why they have CenturyLink and Lumen in LA. CenturyLink merged with Qwest to become Lumen. Same company.
Fun fact, Lumen HQ is still technically in Monroe, even though people assume the HQ is in Seattle because of Lumen Field.
Also, why does South Carolina not have Duke's Mayo listed? That's a massive brand now, even if it's not located in SC anymore.

Alltel is no longer around and windstream is now Uniti after merging with the company they spun off years ago.

It’s there in the northeast of the state.

I don’t think that level of accuracy is possible in a small graphic

This isn’t a state of origin map, it is probably a map of where the current headquarters are. ExxonMobil is shown in Texas. Exxon was Standard Oil of New Jersey and Mobil was Standard Oil of New York, but the current headquarters is in Texas.

As I grow older one of the most interesting things about this country is the ability for giant brands to rise out of some of the most obscure cities.
It speaks about the opportunity in this country. A not insignificant amount of small towns/cities in this country have some history that has made an impact far beyond the city's reputation.

I didn't see it because the colors aren't as prominent as, let's say Acadian Ambo's.

Semantics question.
Huff Daland Dusters was founded in Macon GA.
Delta was founded in Monroe LA
Delta Airlines was founded in Atlanta GA.
Where does the company history start is where you credit the origin.
