I'm not the type of guy that talks a big game about fighting people but I have a soft spot on my heart for veterans, especially Vietnam vets.
There would have been a serious altercation between myself and those idiots who did that.

They ripped off the EARNED medals of a veteran who fought in a foreign conflict. There HAS to be consequences for that, especially if you are active duty.

Stolen valor is a horrendous crime that should be punished via public humiliation and youtube videos. Occasionally the wrong people will be accused but that's okay as long as they're catching the bad guys

Agreed. Same as murder. So occasionally a few innocents get the chair. You've got to crack a few eggs to bake a cake. This is why our tried and true vigilante system works so well.
