Yep. When the Boys of Fall take the field, summer is over.

At home started in May

Cracker Barrel has good stuff this year.

I choose to start officially celebrating July 5th, however.

That would be 9/22. But we don’t have a “fall.” We basically go from death heat to a 2-week cold winter that wants to kill is in January or February.

If you’re in Shoreline WA that’s where my daughter lives. She suffers all winter through 42F highs and 34F lows and drizzle to get to summer days like this. Bet you won’t show the forecasts for October - April.

The year is basically over. How does this keep happening?
Don’t feel bad. My wall calendar is one page for each month too. No days, just the name of the month in the middle of the page in bold giant font.

You just got ahead of yourself and tore off one page too many.

A surprising amount of people in this thread have never heard of solar autumn I guess.

That's what our department head said when Halloween comes the year is over. Because people are out Thanksgiving and Christmas? I would always say in my mind, bullshite, there's at least 7 work weeks in there after Halloween.

If you believe Fall starts in August in Louisiana...

How do you feel about bridge purchases?

Scientifically speaking, the first day of fall is September 22.

Depends on the science you’re wanting to use. Haha.

Astronomically it’s approximately September 22nd. Meteorologically it’s September 1st.

Regardless, it’s not next month.
