Hopefully the two that died were not Allie Rice's killers.

I'd like to see those people caught.

I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic but odds are it wasn’t white people.

Lived there for just a few months in 2001-2002. Was going downhill fast. That Bar and Grill was freakin awesome though.

it was awesome back then. lots of good looking single women lived there, there was an excellent bar and grill on site and they always had some party or event seemingly every weekend

I used to workout there and play tennis. Pool right there always had a couple coeds hanging out. Best part of living there was being able to hop the fence with 3 golf clubs and play the 3-4 holes on that backside of the golf course right before dark.

This has a lot less to do with Fairway View apartments as it does The Rough Rouge and the lack of leadership, judicial accountability, and reluctance to lay the law down on the criminal element in general over the years, as well as the blight that is left behind when people “relocate” rather than increase in population. This is a pattern that you can see happened in this city all my life. It’s like leaving your house abandoned for some years, coming back to find critters living in the house with the earth reclaiming it with weeds, brush, and vines, and then scratching your head how that happened exactly. Did we really expect a different result here?

South BR is no longer reliably decent or safe and I expect that trend to continue and worsen. Wait until we have mayor C Denise or someone like that.

It’s part of a larger pattern.
The mayor took over pledging to reinvent the police force. The Governor took office and pledged to reduce the prison population. Even now they are trying to expedite hearings so JBE can get more convicted murderers off death row.
Public safety is no longer important. Success is measured not by how many thugs you get off the street, but by how many you let go.
